The Republic is a new RPG that's been released for early access. In the game, players take on the role of outsiders to society. The world has been divided into, basically, the "haves" and the "have-nots." You're a have-not. However, what you do have is the ability to bend the elements to your will. Thing is, you're not supposed to have those abilities. So you'll have to work your way and struggle against an oppressive government that doesn't think you should exist.
As I mentioned, this is an early-access version of the game. It's playable, but it still has tweaks and finishing touches it will go through before the final version. What do you get by picking it up now? Well, for starters, you save a couple bucks, which is nice. You also get to help with development, as you can give your input as to what you feel needs to be worked on (basically, it's an open beta).
