Spartan Games have posted a preview of the waterline version of the Prussian Metzger Robot.

Metzger Robot waterline version

From their website:

As if the sight of this colossal metallic titan approaching from over a dusty hill wasn’t enough strike fear into the hearts of even the most hardened battlefield commander; now the behemoth turns its attention to crippling your naval fleet as well!

That is a damn sexy robot. Almost makes me wish I was playing Prussians. I’m curious to see how the Britannian sub looks on its sculpted base.

Interesting that they went with the integral sculpted base (at least it looks integral) rather than a simple waterline version. I think this is better though; gives you more of a sense of the thing pushing its way through the briny.

I do wish that they had put a Prussian frigate next to it, for scale.

I was hoping they’d just have the head poking out. glub glub.

That’s sexy. That bad boy may have pushed me over the edge. I do NOT need another mini game but dang,,,

    • Heh, yeah. The giant robots definitely make the game more tempting.

I’m more concerned with the fact that this might push me into getting Prussians as well. I should have just bought the Mega Starter at this rate 🙂

I was never sold on Dystopian Wars landships but did like their naval models. This model could just drag me in, like the RSN did for me with Firestorm Armada.

    lol, cool!

  • Oh yes, this will make my enemies soil their pants in terror
