Devizes and District Wargames Group has their 34th annual Attack show coming up soon.

From the announcement:

Devizes and District Wargames Group is preparing for the 34th year of Attack!, the club’s annual wargaming, modelling ad history show, at Devizes School over the weekend of 20-21 July. Doors open to the public from 10am each day.

This year is the DDWG’s biggest show ever, having taken on an extra 3000sq.ft of space to accommodate the growing number of leading traders who wish to come to Attack! and show off their wares. It also allows the club and other groups to put on more games for visitors to watch or play.

With over 30 traders attending from around the country, a large bring and buy of wargaming related items, demonstration games and games to join in there is plenty to see and do. And when you need a rest there is a real ale bar and light refreshments available too.

There are six different competition periods including ancients, World War II and Warhammer 40K, attracting competitors from as far away as Belgium. The show is put on by the club and run by club members and we must not forget our wives and partners who run the canteen to keep the troops fed and watered! It is a real team effort.

Raffle proceeds will be going to the Combat Stress Appeal: www.combatstress.org.uk

Entry is just £2.50 for adults, £1.00 for under 16s or £4.00 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 under 16s).
