Long-time readers of TGN know my love of strategic, abstract board games. I've only been a part of a few Kickstarter campaigns, but half of them have been for such styles of game. Decadolo is one of those types of games. It's a little bit Othello-like in how it plays.
At the start of the game, you set out a 10 x 10 grid of tiles colored either white or black. You then shuffle the stack of cards that go with the game. You and your opponent then take turns flipping cards and then flipping the tiles that the cards tell you to flip. The object is to create solid vertical lines across the board. When you do, that line becomes "locked in." You want to be the one with the most locked lines at the end of the game. Simple, yet with a lot of strategy, too.
The campaign is set to run for another 28 days.
