Pretty much everyone's got "that one weird house" on your block. Strange noises at weird hours. Interesting yard artwork. Parties that spring up out of nowhere and disappear just as quickly. Otherworldly elder-things hanging out in the yard. Ok, maybe not that last one. But the house in Cthulhu in the House has that last one going on for it. And now that weird house can be in your house, as the game's now available.
In the game, players will create the house using the various room and hallway tiles. Then you'll fill it with elder things. Those elder things, by the way, were all drawn by legendary comic artist John Kovalic (you know, from Munchkin and Apples to Apples and Dork Tower and Cash 'n' Guns, and about a bajillion other things). Anyway, once the rooms are filled, players get a pair of tokens, letting them know which monsters they're playing. Keep that information secret. Then, on your turn, you'll be able to either move a monster or have them fight if they're in the same room. The losing monster is kicked out. Keep going until only one monster's left. Then, tally up your points. Monsters are worth more points the longer they were in the house. The player with the most points is the winner.
This is a whole different type of house party.
