During the American Civil War, it wasn't terribly uncommon for two armies to be within several miles of one-another and barely know the other was there. This was a time before satellites and drones, after all. As such, small scouting parties meeting or a raid happening might involve just a couple dozen men, all together. Most Civil War rules don't quite allow for playing out these tense battles, but Capitan Studio is looking to fix that with Comrades in Battle, their new skirmish rules set. It's up on Kickstarter now.
Units and individuals have their stats on unit cards. They give you all the information needed to put together your force and run them during the battle. They are also looking to fund, via this project, a group of special minis designed just for the game.
The Kickstarter campaign is up and running now. They're about 1/2 of the way to their goal with still 28 days to go.
