At my old LGS in St. Louis, I remember seeing the rack of Cheapass Games over to one side of the "game side" of the store (the other half of the store was comic books). Over the years, various people picked up ones and we'd play them as quick games to play in-between games of 40k or Warmachine. They were always really fun and, as one could guess, pretty cheap to buy. Well, now Cheapass Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring out a new, deluxe version of their very first game, Kill Doctor Lucky.
As one could expect, with a name like "Dr. Lucky," for an old guy, he's not as easy to kill as one might originally think. It's your job to go around Lucky Mansion and find a nice, suitable weapon, as well as a good hiding spot so you can ambush the old fellow and make your escape without anyone seeing you. Sort of a rather morbid affair, but it's all with a bit of fun. This new, deluxe, 19.5th Anniversary Edition has updated rules as well as new artwork.
The campaign just got underway and is set to go for another 30 days.
