A Dead Man’s Guide to Dragongrin: 5E Campaign Setting Guide Up On Kickstarter

A Dead Man’s Guide to Dragongrin is more than just a setting book. With those, you get some history, some maps, and some NPCs. This one really looks to help the GM along with building the world as well as just pointing things out. Instead of having to shoehorn your game into the setting, the world is malleable and changeable, able to be what you need it to be for your game. The book is up on Kickstarter now.

Ponyfinder: From the Ashes Adventure Up On Kickstarter

Wars are pretty brutal. They can leave scars in the land and in populations that remain for generations. In the wake of the war between the fey and humanoid races, the land was left scorched and even the sky had been changed. Into this wasteland, groups of creatures that had been on opposite sides realized that it was only by working together that they would survive. That’s where you find yourselves in the new Ponyfinder adventure, From the Ashes. The book is up on Kickstarter now.

D&D Icons of the Realms: Monster Menagerie III Now Available

I’m about to get into a new D&D group. It’s my first 5th Edition game, actually. I’ve already got my character built. I don’t have a mini for it yet. Not really sure I’ve seen one I want to use. Perhaps there’ll be one in the new D&D Icons of the Realms: Monster Menagerie III set. It is available now, so I should go check it out.

Liberty A.F.T.E.R. Sci-Fi RPG Now Available

It’s interesting how a single thing can evolve to grow into more items as it goes along. For example, the world of Liberty started off as a podcast. Then, it grew into a graphic novel. Now, they’re letting you join in with Liberty A.F.T.E.R., a new sci-fi RPG setting book using the 5th Edition rules (tweaked, obviously). If you’d like to go adventuring on a far-off distant world that’s been divided into two parts, with one side controlled by an oppressive government while the other is overrun with post-apocalyptic games, you can check out this new book.

Mists of Akuma: Imperial Matchmaker 5th Edition Adventure Up On Kickstarter

You know, I’ve often said that I love pre-made adventures, as they give the GM a lot of resources and can make the game as easy for them as it is for the players to just play it. Usually, they’re good for a level or two, but the Mists of Akuma: Imperial Matchmaker adventure for 5th Edition is here to get your players from 4th to 10th level. Yeah, that’s quite a module. It’s set in the eastern fantasy noir steampunk Soburin setting, and it’s up on Kickstarter now.

The Mermaid’s Blessing RPG Adventure Up On Kickstarter

Pre-made adventures give GMs a ready-to-go group of game sessions. They give you everything you need and you can have a group go through them over the course of several sessions. The Mermaid’s Blessing is a new adventure for 5th Edition that’s up on Kickstarter now. I don’t really think that these mermaids are going to be combing their hair with forks and singing with crabs.

WizKids Announces Magic: The Gathering: Heroes of Dominaria Board Game and Token Miniatures

GAMA is this week, and lots of game companies will be showing off all sorts of new releases they’ve got planned for the year. WizKids will be at the show. They’re working on a new Heroes of Dominaria board game, as well as coming out with minis for all your favorite Tokens from the game (I’m gonna be looking forward to picking up a whole bunch of Bears, for obvious reasons).

I have friends all over the world. I’m sure most of you do, too. The Internet connects us with people from everywhere, instantly. They’ve teamed up with Wizards of the Coast and are releasing official Dungeons & Dragons modules on their platform. You can get the Princes of the Apocalypse module now.

The Hidden Halls of Hazakor 5th Edition Adventure Up On Kickstarter

I’m sure many of us can remember back to the first RPG adventure we tried to run or played in. It might’ve been something you came up with, yourself, or it might’ve been a pre-generated adventure. If you were pretty young, you might not have fully understood how things worked, as the book was more-than-likely not written with a new player in mind. Well, the Hidden Halls of Hazakor, a new 5th edition adventure up on Kickstarter, is written not just for new players, but new dungeon masters as well.

Ultimate NPCs for 5th Edition Up On Kickstarter

As I’ve said time and time again, having more resources for the GM is never a bad thing. They have an entire universe to populate while the players have to only worry about their own characters. I know I’ve struggled to come up with all the NPCs that my group might encounter along the way. So it’d be handy to have something like the Ultimate NPCs Guide that’s up on Kickstarter now. It’s over 200 pages of pre-built characters of many different levels you can just drop into your game.

A Look Into The History of Magic: The Gathering

On Netflix right now, there’s a new series called The Toys that Made Us. It’s a look at several iconic toy lines and where they originated. It’s also a look at the foundation of several toy companies. I found it rather fascinating. Well, I just came across an article that does much the same for Magic: The Gathering. I read it through and found it pretty interesting as well. I think you’ll like it.

Anthro-Adventures 5th Edition Campaign Setting Up On Kickstarter

While the various D20 systems have a decent bit in common, and stats can certainly be shifted around between them, it’s much easier to just have a book that gives you right what you need. The new format for the campaign setting book is up on Kickstarter now.

D&D Icons of the Realms: Classic Creatures Now Available From WizKids

I love to use minis when doing my RPGs. It gives everyone a sense of where people are in the encounters, as well as can help make things feel a bit more “real.” What I hate is when I have to use the wrong mini for something because I don’t have the right one. Or you’ve got several that all look the same and you mix up which is which. Well, WizKids is here to help, as they’ve released their D&D Icons of the Realms: Classic Creatures set. This brings a bunch of baddies to your tabletops with new sculpts to help them stand out from previous iterations.

Tarot Adventures, Book Two: Comet Over Echo Rock Kickstarter Coming in January

Sinopa Publishing has announced their next book in their Tarot Adventures line. The series, which draws its inspiration from the traditional Tarot deck, continues to the Comet Over Echo Rock adventure. As you all know, I’m a fan of pre-made adventures, as it gives the GM a lot of tools right at their fingertips. And having multiple missions all linked together can make it so quite a lot of gaming is done with minimal worry. Expect Comet Over Echo Rock to hit Kickstarter in January.

Those Dam Goblins RPG Adventure Up On Kickstarter

It seemed like a nice place, at the time. A valley that had a bit of a swamp problem, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed without a little dam. It turned the valley into a rather productive one, agriculturally-speaking. But now, there’s rumbling in the hills around the valley. Goblins.
Those Dam Goblins is a new fantasy adventure for various systems that’s up on Kickstarter now.

Few villains work alone. You’ve got the leader of a criminal organization and their hordes of underlings. Or a cult leader and all their cultists. Or a dragon and all their dragonlings. Whatever the case, you have a Master and Minions, and that’s also what we’ve got in this 5th edition supplement that’s up on Kickstarter. Masters and Minions gives GMs stats and rules for using NPCs and villains, along with their followers, in your games.

Wyrmkeep Dungeons BW3: The Beast Below D&D Adventure Up On Kickstarter

And pre-made adventures are great at that. In this case, we’ve got The Best Below, a 5th Edition adventure for characters of 1st to 3rd level. It’s up on Kickstarter now.

In Darkness Delve Vol. 1 RPG Adventures Up On Kickstarter

A DM, in my opinion, can never have too many resources at their disposal when it comes time to run the game. In Darkness Delve Vol. 1 is a new set of fantasy RPG adventures for 5th Edition D&D. They’ve got you covered for quite a bit of your party’s adventuring career, too, going from level 1 all the way to level 10. The set of adventures is up on Kickstarter now.
