Fantasy Flight Games Announces Masks of Nyarlathotep Expansion for Eldritch Horror

Another classic is being brought to your tabletops with Masks of Nyarlathotep for Eldritch Horror. But more than that, there's also going to be a new edition of the Call of Cthulhu adventure, updating it to the current 7th edition rules. So it's sort of a two-for-one update here.
Cults all over are worshiping a single, horrible entity. It's up to the investigators to put an end to their profane rituals before all the world is destroyed (isn't that just always the case?).

The Kickstarter campaign for the Resident Evil 2 board game coming from Steamforged continues to move along. The game is already more than 3x funded, with numerous stretch goals unlocked. If you've not taken a look back at the campaign in a while, this would be a good update to check out.

Wyrd Previews Breachlings For The Other Side

It's Wyrds tradition to book-end the work week with previews. Mondays we get some new Malifaux artwork. Friday we get a The Other Side preview. Well, I've got my Friday shirt on. Arkham Nights 2017 Coming Next Month

Man, I can't wait for October. It's probably my favorite month (even though my favorite holiday, by far, is in November). There's just so many things I love about that month, mostly having to do with Autumn being in full swing. Another reason to love October, if you're in Minnesota, anyway, is that's when Arkham Nights is happening. Fantasy Flight Games is holding a special All-Arkham-All-The-Time event and you can join in.

Review Roundup

Hey everyone. We've made it around to another weekend. I said I was going to probably be doing some baking. Well, I've got some magic cookie bars cooling right now. I love these things... probably too much... *looks at my stomach* ... definitely too much.
But issues with my waistline aside, I hope you're having a good weekend so far. I'm sure many of you are out gaming, which is awesome. But if you're stopping by here, I know it's because you want to check out those gaming reviews I know you all so desperately desire.

So, as I sip on a Pineapple Crush and wait for these bars to finish cooling, today we have: The Walking Dead: All Out War, Exit the Game, Legendary: X-Men Expansion, Orleans, Quantum, Race for the Galaxy App, First Martians: Adventures on the Red Planet, Serengeti, Stone Age, Maze Racers, Purrrlock Holmes: Furriarty's Trail, Memoarrr!, The Goonies Adventure Card Game, Photosynthesis, Incantris, Hafid's Grand Bazaar, Ascension X: War of Shadows, Fate of the Elder Gods, and The Champion of the Wild.

HeroClix: Undead Set Now Available

My current playlist I'm listening to (and have been for a couple weeks now) includes songs like Misfits - Halloween, Ministry - Everyday is Halloween, and The Cramps - Naked Girl Falling Down the Stairs (because if you're gonna write a song, write a damn song!). As you can tell from at least 2 out of those 3, I'm a fan of this time of year. Some people think it's too early for that stuff. But I certainly don't. And I think WizKids would agree, since they've just released their HeroClix: Undead set.

Xas Irkalla Survival Horror RPG Up On Kickstarter

So, we're not entirely sure if androids dream of electric sheep. But we can be sure that when a psychic has a nightmare, there can potentially be dire consequences. What sort? Well, how about causing some sort of psychic spawn to be created at an interdimensional crossroads? Yeah, that's a thing. It's also where the characters in Xas Irkalla will find themselves when they wake up. How will they survive in a realm full of psychic warfare, wasteland tribes, slaver cities, and more? That's up to them to decide. The game is up on Kickstarter now.
