Another day, another preview. This time around, it's the Blacksmith's Guild for Season 4 of Guild Ball. One of the newer Guilds to the game, with a strange build mechanic where you take 3 Masters and 3 Apprentices, instead of the usual 1 Captain, 1 Mascot, 4 Squaddies. A very synergistic team, how did they fare in the update to S4? Go have yourself a look.

Sports, generally speaking, are meant to be played as a tourney or as part of a league. You have your event or season, and the teams play games/matches against each-other over the course of it. For Guild Ball, that was the Big League, originally released in Season 2. Well, the game has changed quite a bit since then, and now Steamforged is updating the Big League for Season 4.

Steamforged Previews Fathom for Navigator's Guild

In every Minor Guild, there's two players that can work with the Major Guild the team's tied to. Fathom is one of the two for the Navigator's Guild, being able to play up to the Fisherman's Guild, my personal favorite Guild. On that team, Angel is one of my favorite players, and almost always hits the pitch when I play. So, when I see that Fathom works very well with Angel, I'm like, "yes. This is a thing that pleases me." Check out all she can do in this new preview.

Steamforged Previews Season 4 Guild Ball

A couple years ago, I had a whole thing about a "year of new editions" as various games were getting updates. I really should've been doing that this year, too. X-Wing, Pathfinder, Age of Sigmar all got new editions, just to name a few. Another game that's upping the edition number this year is Guild Ball. It's coming this fall, and seeing as it's so soon, Steamforged has posted up their first preview of what we can expect.
