Catalyst Game Labs has released its latest preview for its upcoming Mercenaries Kickstarter, giving players an in-depth look at the development of miniatures. In addition to the Kickstarter preview, Catalyst Game Labs has also released new BattleTech fiction for fans to enjoy. Escape From Jardine, written by Herbert A. Beas II, is the third installment in the Forgotten Worlds series. The novel follows interstellar explorer Brooklyn Stevens as she discovers the “lost” planet of Jardine, only to stumble upon a powerful ComStar faction that will do anything to keep Jardine’s location a secret.
As for the Mercenaries Kickstarter Launch Party, the response has been overwhelming. The Launch Party Coordination Team is still in the process of responding to interested venues, and has decided to push back the final announcement until March 3, 2023 to give all venues an equal opportunity. Selected venues will receive contact before that time to confirm their selection and the specifics of the event.
