Canasticus Fantasy Card Game Up On Kickstarter

In all sorts of games, we look to personalize it a bit to make it our own. For an RPG, we build our characters and maybe have them have some elements of the real us. Or in a miniatures game, we can paint our figures how we want, or sculpt them how we want. Card games, though, tend to be a bit "as it comes." Well, the folks over at Canasticus Games are looking to add a bit of you to their fantasy card game. The Kickstarter campaign is up and running now.

The game is based on the traditional card game, Canasta, but with a decidedly fantasy twist to it. Here, instead of the regular sets of cards, you've got wizards, demons, knights, assassins, giants, and sorceresses that are on the cards. You can also be on the cards. Yeah, at the end of the campaign, backers are requested to send in a photo and the artists over at Canasticus Games will add your likeness to one of the cards. The whole deck has 108 cards in it, so there's plenty of room to add your likeness. Want to get yourself on a card, but don't want to share it? There's an option for that, too.

The Kickstarter campaign's up and running now. It's set to go for another 34 days.
