A Scout is always prepared. That's true in this world as it is in the Wyrdwood. There, there's a lot more talking trees and magical animals to befriend. But the quest is still to get those merrit badges. And that's what you'll be doing in Scouts of the Wyrdwood Forest. The Kickstarter campaign for this new RPG is back up and running now.

Go! Go! Power Rangers!
*wicked guitar solo*
If you're a fan of the Power Rangers (and if you're in an age group below mine, it's a pretty safe bet that you are), you've probably played the Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid game from Renegade Game Studios. Now, you may be looking for more mighty-morphin' action, and they're here to bring it to you with new expansion sets up on Kickstarter now.
The Nautilus. Arguably the most iconic submarine of all time. Captained by the hero/villain Captain Nemo and his intrepid crew, they went on many adventures all over the world. Now, you can join them. Nemo Rising: Robur the Conqueror is now available from WizKids. Partake in one of two different adventures as you work together to complete goals before time runs out.
You've maybe checked out the indie-produced video game Hyper Light Drifter. People seem to really enjoy it. So, why not bring it to tabletops with an RPG? At least, that's what Metal Weave Games thought, and I don't see anything wrong with it, either. They're currently running a Kickstarter to get it made. And they're running a public test of the rules, so you can even go download those and check it out before you pledge.
We're getting close again, people. The weekend is getting closer. It's just another couple days away. We'll make it. I'm somewhat excited because my latest hot sauce box arrived. Already tried the first sauce and did a review. TL:DR: It burned my tongue out of my mouth. So, as I search for a new one, let's do the regular Thursday thing and talk about some terrain. Quick one for you today.
We have: New MIG Alley Design From Deep-Cut Studio
Many of you have thoroughly enjoyed the Root board game from Magpie Games. But perhaps you've wanted to get even more involved with the world. Go down into it and really explore the space, to become one of the characters. Well, soon, you'll be able to, as there's a Root RPG in the works. And you can get in on the action now on Kickstarter.
We're about 2/3 of the way through September. This month has been going by quickly. Seems like a good time to be showing off some releases. Paizo has posted up theirs, with a whole batch of products for both Pathfinder and Starfinder. From new books, to a new critical deck, to new maps. Have a look.
After the initial 3 seasons of Zombicide, the folks over at CMON decided to take the franchise to a different location. The previous games had been set in a modern world, but what if the zombie infestation happened in a medieval fantasy setting? Thus, Zombicide: Black Plague was born. Continuing their look through the history of Zombicide, they posted an article about this ye olden times version.
Longtime readers know that when it comes to miniatures, I like mine on the grand scale. A really well-done 32mm single soldier is fine, but give me the huge dragon. Give me the giant robot. Give me the massive starship. With the changeover to 2nd Edition for X-Wing, the huge ships had been left out. Well, not for much longer. We're getting a new conversion kit for them and Fantasy Flight is showing off a preview.
Your adventuring party has cleaned out the local nest of goblins and gotten their reward. They head to the tavern for some well-deserved rest when someone suggests a game. Cards and pulled out and bets are made. Chances are, the game they're playing is Three Dragon Ante. If you want to get in on the same action, you can do so with the new Legendary Edition of Three Dragon Ante, available from WizKids.
When your gaming group is spread out all over, it can be hard to get together in one room to play (I mean, if everyone lives in the same apartment building, it can sometimes be hard to get everyone together in one room to play, but still...). That's where digital tabletops come in, with Roll20 being an industry leader. And if you're looking for adding the acclaimed Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus campaign, it's now available.
The folks over at Starling Games aren't just bringing you one expansion for their Everdell board game with their latest Kickstarter campaign. No, they're bringing you two! Want to leave the valley and strike out for unknown territory, you can head to Spirecrest. If you're wanting to bring more people into the game than ever, grab Bellfaire, with room for 5-6 player games.
What's your type? Tall, dark, and handsome? Gothy vampire? Bookworm? Chubby chef? All of the above? Are you looking for someone special to enter your life? Then Hey Cutie might be the game for you. It's a new dating sim card game that's up on Kickstarter now. Find your perfect match!
A new expansion for the award-winning Tales From the Loop RPG is coming in just under a month's time. Free League Publishing has announced Out of Time, a new campaign that, as one would expect, involves time travel in order to save the world.
Wednesday. The week's halfway done. Now, to slide our way back down to the weekend. We can make it, I'm sure. I dont' have much going on this weekend, but that's pretty much by design. After all the ridiculous shenanigans I got into in my last game, I need a week off to re-compose myself. In the meantime, we can snack on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: New Dice Coming Tomorrow From Kraken Dice, New Fallen Knight Armor Available From Kromlech, and New Tridents Available From Puppets War.
