The Zorro Dice Game.

It's all pretty self-explanatory right in the title, isn't it? Roll dice, gather iconic equipment of the masked swashbuckler, defend the defenseless people of the village, and duel the evil boss behind it all.

Yup, I think that covers it, except for that the game is up now on Kickstarter.

Emperor Qin Shi Huang has united all of China and enacted many reforms for the people. Those underneath him are also looking to make their mark on the country, engaging in their own power struggles in the court. But each must beware, lest the Emperor's favor falter on them.

That's the story behind Emperor's Choice (not an ad for Folger's Coffee). Tasty Minstrel Games is running a Kickstarter campain for a deluxe version of the game. You can check it out now.

Mega-City One. You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. And that's why there's the Judges. While the Gangs think they own everything, the Judges would like to differ. As such, there's a war going on in the streets. Soon, you'll be able to replicate those wars on your tabletops in the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game. In this quick preview, we get a look both sides.

Puzzles. And I don't just mean jigsaw puzzles that you take forever to finish on your kitchen table. I mean all manner of puzzles. In an RPG, they can be a chance for the players to step back out of their characters for a bit and give their brains a real stretch. Heroes & Gods: The Master of Dreams is a sandbox-style board game that's up on Kickstarter now. By "sandbox-style" I don't mean that you get a little bag of sand and a bucket and a shovel, but there's about a thousand things that you can potentially do on your turn and choices you can make as you play, letting you explore different ways to victory. Explore, build, quest, form or break alliances, it's a little bit of everything.

Earth. I mean, sure, it's a pretty good place to have a home. I've got one here. But what about off-planet? There's some pretty good realestate out there. But you've gotta act fast, otherwise someone else might take up residence where you want. That's the story behind Cosmic Colonies, a new board game from Floodgate Games that's up on Kickstarter now.

Submarines. The silent killer of the seas. In Cruel Seas, they can be a real game-changer, pretty much literally. In this article, Warlord Games takes a look over their use in the game as well as comparing between the German and English subs, arguably the two best types during the war.

"Yeah, but is it what my character would do?"

We've all probably heard that at a gaming table before. Players are given an option or an course of action, and it all sorts of stops because someone isn't sure if their character would do it or not. That's fine, but it can sometimes be a question players have about their characters. In this preview of the Lost Omens Character Guide for Pathfinder, Paizo takes a look at helping with such questions.

There is evil in the world. That's why most adventurers go out and fight against it. But beyond just being generic "that's bad," what about games that want to further explore just what being evil means? Well, that's where the Corpus Malicious comes in. It's a new supplement for your D&D games that expands on evilness and what it means to be evil. The book is up on Kickstarter now.
