Ares Games has finally released their long-awaited WW1 Wings of Glory fighter packs. Take to the skies!

From the release:

The long awaited WW1 Wings of Glory Airplane Packs are going to hit the stores in a few days: following their arrival at the Ares Games’ warehouse in the U.S. early this week, this new release for the World War 1 version of Wings of Glory are now shipping to North American distributors, and will be available in US and Canadian stores starting on August 6th. In Europe, they should be available in stores in the 2nd half of August.

These WW1 Airplane Packs present four fighters, each of them in three different versions: the Fokker E.III “Eindecker”, the Halberstadt D.III, the Morane-Saulnier Type N and the Airco DH.2. Designed to be used with the popular air combat game system created by Andrea Angiolino and Pier Giorgio Paglia, each pack features a ready-to-play model, painted and assembled, and includes a special base with gaming stats, a variable altitude flying stand, and a specific deck of maneuver cards.

To play with these Airplane Packs, it’s necessary to own a WW1 Wings of Glory rule set, such as the WW1 Wings of Glory Rules and Accessories Pack that will be released in August, and includes the complete rules and components required to play with these miniatures. The Airplane Packs are also 100% compatible with the former Wings of War game system.

The WW1 Wings of Glory products are distributed worldwide, in English language, by Ares Games. In Italy, Red Glove publishes and distributes the Italian edition of the game and distribute it. In Germany, the game is distributed exclusively by Heidelberger; in France, by Edge/Millennium; and in the U.K., by Esdevium.

The suggested retail price for the WW1 Wings of Glory Airplane Packs is US$ 13,90. For more information about the new packs, visit the Ares Games website

    Finally!
Love everything to do with this game; I have every single release since the very beginning.
Sure do wish that Ares would NOT continue in the tradition of Nexus with the long delays, but as long as product keeps coming…
    Hurray!
