Becoming a Grand Master at Magic isn't something that happens overnight. It takes study and practice. Of course, students can't help but show off what they've learned in front of others. Those that can make the flashiest effects will earn prestige among their peers. And for anyone that's been to school knows, being "the popular kid" can have its perks. That's the story behind Arcane Master, a new card and dice game up on Kickstarter.
In the game, players will place their dice in front of them, determining how they'll be used in casting their spells as well as buying new Arcana cards. Then, after dice have been allocated, they'll be rolled so you can see what all you'll have to work with that turn. There's also 3 communal dice that everyone can draw from. Then, depending on how you rolled, you can either cast a spell or purchase a card. The player that had the best invocation that round scores points and will be the first player next round.
The Kickstarter campaign is up and running now. It's set to go for another 28 days.
