A letter to Wargames Factory Community

The new management of Wargames Factory have posted a two part letter (part 1 and part 2) addressing some of their recent problems and their steps to rectify them.

    This Wargames Factory stuff is sad, and it’s becoming quite the soap opera.

    They aren’t going to be using Triangle for packing anymore. 🙁

      Yeah, that’s what got me into the initial orders, supporting a “local” business even though their sculpts weren’t the greatest.

      This just adds further to my distaste for their business practices. The cutover to the .net email address is also a bit fishy — in the sense that they are hiding something, not that they are committing fraud — if your webhost is having problems, why would changing domain names solve it? Shouldn’t you move your entire business to another host?

        eh not really, i know my friends have had domain issues (like registration runs out and the one guy who can renew is on vacation.

          But that doesn’t seem to be the situation here. Their .com site works fine, they only said the email needs to use the .net domain.

          Maybe I’ve been out the IT field and domainspace for too long, but if my hosting provider had that kind of issue I would not tell my customers to use a different email, I would get a new host.
