WizKids Announces Super-Skill Pinball 4-Cade

Pinball. A staple of arcades, the lights, the sounds, the finger-flipping action. You don't have to be Tommy to enjoy it (or have massive shoes). If you're an aspiring pinball wizard, you should be excited for Super-Skill Pinball 4-Cade, a new roll & write game coming soon from WizKids.

From the website:

WizKids is pleased to announce that Super-Skill Pinball: 4-Cade, a new pinball themed roll-and-write game from designer Geoff Engelstein, is coming soon!

“I want to capture the strategic aspects of classic pinball,” says Geoff Engelstein, designer of the Super-Skill Pinball. “When you’re a pinball wizard, your dexterity and reflexes take a back seat to high-level strategic choices. I want to give you that same experience, so you can to take the risks and make the smart plays like a true pinball pro.”

This roll-and-write pinball game for 1-4 players features four unique tables and matching backglass for players to choose from: Carniball, Cyberhack, Dance Fever!, and Dragon Slayer. Each turn, a pair of dice is rolled. Each player will select one of the two results and move their pinball to a bumper, spinner, or target with a matching number. As the game progresses, players will make their way down each level of the table, eventually selecting which flipper’s roll to use to send the ball back to the top.

“I’m a huge pinball fan,” says Zev Shlasinger, director of board games at WizKids Games. “As soon as I saw Geoff’s prototype, I knew it would be a great fit for us. It adds something new and different to the roll & write genre. Geoff’s elegant design can capture lots of different themes, from disco to dragons! We have big plans for the future of this game. It’s a remarkable achievement.”

With a small footprint and quick setup, Super-Skill Pinball: 4-Cade is great for solo or group play. Each of the game’s 4 tables has unique mechanics, challenges, and bonuses for players to enjoy, making this the ultimate game night treat! Preorder at your Friendly Local Game Store or online today!
