The Elven Renaissance RPG Setting Book Up On Kickstarter

It might seem like Elven culture is rather static. They comb their long hair. They shine their silvery tiaras. But just like other civilizations, they can go through a Renaissance as well. But what would an Elven Renaissance look like? Glad you asked, because that's what you find out in The Elven Renaissance, a new, system-agnostic RPG setting book that's up on Kickstarter now.

From the campaign:

The Elven Renaissance was born out of a question from a dressmaker as to whether one of the authors wanted a wedding dress that was more Renaissance or more Elven. The answer, of course, was both, but prompted us to think about just what an Elven Renaissance would mean.

Soon we found ourselves immersed in creating an entire world, daring to rethink just what the homeworld of the elves might look like, what their culture might be, the good, the bad, and the deeply, darkly ugly. This isn't a reimaging of other elven world settings, it's a brand new one.

The Elven Renaissance is a setting for roleplaying games that is meant to be used with any roleplaying system. It is robust enough to stand alone as a setting, but was designed to also be integrated with any existing worlds or lore you may have. We've included Gamemaster (GM) tips here and there to help provide prompts about how you can stretch and scale the world of Nuenadé to fit your needs.

The campaign's up and over its funding goal with 29 days left to go.
