High school is a pretty awkward time for everyone involved. Even those that feel like they fit in well are trying to figure out everything that's going on. So, if you're a super hero and having to deal with all the issues involved with that as well, it's going to be that much tougher. But it's into this world that you find yourself in Super High School, a new RPG that's up on Kickstarter now.
From the campaign:
Super High School is a role-playing game for teenage superheroes. It is aimed at all ages, but it has been especially designed for the youngest members of the family. It is also perfect for your first steps in the world of role-playing games.
We all know that role-playing games are a means of teaching and learning in values. Super High School reinforces this: It offers a leisure experience with simplicity and effectiveness to narrate superhero scenes while transmitting superhero values such as effort, empathy, helping those in need and taking responsibility for the decisions made. Thus, all acts will involve repercussions.
As a matter of fact, this is a fundamental aspect of the game in which both children and adults will discover that actions involve consequences, and it will be your task to perform your duties as a superhero accordingly. So, protecting the citizens and the immediate surroundings should be preferred to defeating the villain.
If not, you may be perceived as a villain in the eyes of the public opinion and become a pariah, as you will be no longer accepted by your peers. You will not be liked, respected or trusted anymore if your aim is only to be a renowned superhero and you put your ambitions before other people’s safety.
The campaign is up and running now and is set to go for another 29 days.
