How good's your hearing? Do you think you can pick out the sounds of a concept easily? What if others are trying to distract you? And on the other side of things, how well do you think you could make random noises to get your point across? Well, if you play Sound Box, you'll find out. The game's up on Kickstarter now.
From the campaign:
Sound Box is a cooperative party game for 4-7 players, designed by award-winning game designers Hjalmar Hach and Lorenzo Silva (authors of critically acclaimed games such as The King's Dilemma and the Railroad Ink series).
Join the ranks of the Soundmakers and help the Guesser find the concept shown on your Sound card by imitating the sound which you think best represents it... but beware, all other Soundmakers will be doing the same, all at the same time, and there are many more words on display than there are to guess!
Or, put the glasses on and become the Guesser for the current round: your job will be to listen to the Soundmakers as they perform their sounds until the timer runs out! Try to guess as many Sound cards as possible to bring the team to victory!
Whenever the Guesser makes a mistake, the round ends immediately. If they leave too many cards unguessed, you all lose. But each correct guess will get you 1 point, and if you reach the end of the Soundtrack, you all win!
The campaign's up and over its funding goal with 14 days left to go.
