So, like many conventions this year, Gen Con was cancelled. However, also like many conventions this year, they're moving things to a more virtual space. The Greatest 4 Days in Gaming are going digital with Gen Con online. They're opening up the free registration on Monday, June 1st. They've also posted up some other important dates for you to know.
From the announcement:
Last week, we had the sad duty of announcing the cancellation of Gen Con 2020 in Indianapolis due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19. However, while we can't gather in Indianapolis en masse for our favorite four days of the year, we still want to celebrate our shared love of tabletop gaming and geek culture with as many of you as possible.
Gen Con Online is a new virtual convention experience featuring four days of remote gaming, streaming shows, your favorite exhibitors, and more — all from the safety of your devices and the comfort of your favorite quarantine sweatpants!
