October is arguably my favorite month. Temperatures are mellowing out. The leaves are changing colors. And yes, I like cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and ginger (aka - pumpkin spice). If you're a fan of Warcaster, Hordes, or Monsterpocalypse, you'll be a fan of October as well, since they're seeing new releases that month. Of course, that means-
<whoop! whoop! whoop!>
Giant robot alert!
The Strike Raptor is a massive machine equipped with an arsenal of devastating weaponry. Unbound by earthly terrain and obstacles, this warjack is equipped with powerful mechanikal jump jets that enable it to expend Arc for short bursts of flight, making it even more maneuverable than the swift-moving Dusk Wolf. A true support weapon, the Strike Raptor packs an assortment of arms that would be the envy of any military force.

If the Firebrand is the premier support warjack of the Paladin forces, the imposing Morningstar provides the heavy firepower. Designed primarily as a modular weapon platform, the Morningstar’s reinforced chassis enables it to carry larger and more sophisticated armament than the lighter warjack. Its integral range amplifier even extends the range of its guns while it is charged, giving it a definite edge in any firefight. A cantankerous machine in any configuration, the Morningstar is at its most lethal when its ranged firepower is maximized.

Flying over the battlefield like bloated, black-steel insects bristling with malefic firepower, the Aeternus Continuum’s Nemesis warjacks are a terrifying sight to behold. Though clumsy on land, these machines are capable of achieving incredible speeds in the air. The Nemesis warjacks are relatively lightly armored to decrease weight and enable flight. To compensate, they are equipped with potent Arc fields that protect them from ranged and arcane attacks.

The newly created Virtue species are not mindless automatons in Everblight’s service. Each shares a sliver of the dragon’s alien intellect and is capable of independent thought and action. This mental freedom means that among the Virtues, there are those that rise above the ranks of their kin. Virtue Champions have mastered the blight within their blood and can secrete toxic clouds of Everblight’s blessing from their pores. Their control of the dragon’s blight is so great that the caustic blessing of their master persists in their presence, no matter what efforts their foes take to be cleansed. As a symbol of their elevated status, many Virtue Champions master difficult weapons or fighting styles to display their prowess in combat, such as dual-wielding claymores.
The dragon Everblight has unleashed a new species upon the endless battlefields of western Immoren, a species engineered to combat the threat of the infernals. Elegant and horrifying, the Virtues are Everblight’s elite vanguard, his perfect warriors. Every Virtue is born with the caustic blight of the dragon woven into their blood. These lightning-fast combatants can secrete clouds of toxicity from their pores, spit acid at their foes, and peel their dissolving forms apart with ease. The purity of their blight is so flawless that their mere presence masks the souls of the Legion’s faithful.
Standard strategy doctrines guide the sequence of steps in every Zerkalo Bloc invasion. The first wave is led by brute force mecha that carve out a “landing zone” in the new dimension. When a relatively safe area is established, the leaders of the expeditionary forces arrive. These forward command and control mecha are not only staffed by expert pilots who understand combat on a massive scale, but they also command staff to plan the specifics of the invasion from a forward position. For such a formidable war as the Monsterpocalypse, the high command decided that their most decorated machine and crew would return to active service to ensure a great victory.
One of the first structures built by any Zerkalo Bloc invasion force is a Reclamation Facility. These buildings serve as gathering points for the more unrefined resources that are produced by the fighting near their location. Not only do these buildings process the detritus left over when a city is leveled, but they are also capable of actively recycling military vehicles, whether they are surplus units no longer needed or enemy craft that stray too close.
