Tuesday. The work week is good and underway. We've got the engine started on Monday. Time to keep it running on all cylinders into Tuesday. As always, I'm ready to get back to that sweet, sweet weekend, even though I don't have any gaming in-particular lined up. It's no worries, though, just taking a weekend to relax is nice. So, let's help the week go by quickly by listening to some gaming podcasts.
This week on the dial we have: Podcast Episode 6: Hot Topic - The Serrano; Nerdherders Episode 39 (129): Stay Home and Prosper; The Secret Cabal Episode 206: Star Trek Ascendency and The Founders Feud with Rodney Smith; The Offline Gamer Episode 49: Still Stuck Indoors; and Tabletop Talk Episode 73: Path to Podium: 2019 Charlotte Malifaux Tournament.
The Hot Topic Challenge continues as Joe, Bistro, Colby and Kendall take on the spicy serrano pepper as Niki asks very interesting, and not dumb, questions. Plus they discuss Summoner Wars play testing.
Special guests abound! Head geek Teras Cassidy and Nerdherders buddy Dan Roberts join the boys to talk about what they’re doing during the pandemic.
The Secret Cabal's 2020 Fundraiser is live on Kickstarter right now! Jump over to Kickstarter and search The Secret Cabal 2020 now! In other news, today the founder's welcome Rodney Smith of Watch It Played to talk about some board games including Labyrinth Adventures, Evolution, Oceans, Cloudspire, Codenames, The Grizzled Armistice and Lasers and Feelings! Then Don, Jamie and Aaron give you a feature review of Star Trek Ascendency and a look back at Kingsport Festival. Then after Tony T runs down the most important news in all of the tabletop gaming world, Rodney joins the Founders for the 4th installment of their world famous game show, The Founder's Feud!
We're still stuck indoors this month, but that's no reason why Matt can't spend lots of cash backing Kickstarter projects he'll be able to play (hopefully) once lockdown is over...
Join Craig as his guests discuss how they made the podium for a Malifaux tournament last year in Charlotte, NC. They reveal what crews they played, which crews they faced, and the key decisions that led to their victories.
