Podcast Radio

I can breathe through my nose.

I know that that's not gaming news. But it's the first time I've really been able to, unobstructed, in almost a week. It's amazing the things we take for granted.

But yeah, I'm feeling better, and that makes me happy. Gaming podcasts also make me happy. So, let's get you some to listen to as we continue out the week.

Today on the dial we have: Morrus' Unofficial Tabletop RPG Talk Episode 82: Top RPG Podcasts of 2019; Rolling Dice & Taking Names Episode 189: Return to The Dark Tower, Irish Gauge, Little Devils, Letter Press, Town Builder: Coevorden; Nerdherders Episode 35 (125): Ramblehammer 40k; 40K Radio Episode 46: Still Frost(y); The Secret Cabal Episode 198: Maracaibo and a Short Topic Extravaganza; and Tabletop Talk Episode 56: Malifaux Hot Topics with Kyle and Kevin.

Morrus' Unofficial Tabletop RPG Talk Episode 82: Top RPG Podcasts of 2019

This week, Morrus and Peter count down the Top 10 Roleplaying Game Podcasts of 2019! Both categories are covered, RPG Talk and Actual Play. In the news, Dungeons & Dragons announces a new product and also doesn’t, layoffs at Fantasy Flight Games, applications for the Fallout RPG closed beta open, and a lot, LOT more (there was a lot of news this week) plus a brand new sketch about an “invisible” bank robber!

Rolling Dice & Taking Names Episode 189: Return to The Dark Tower, Irish Gauge, Little Devils, Letter Press, Town Builder: Coevorden

We are starting of the year strong because, Rob and Justin have returned to the show and they are telling us all about Return to Dark Tower. We got the lowdown on how to play, what it took to get the Tower running, and the support behind the game. Once we got that out of the way, we talked about Restoration Games’ plans for 2020 and how they plan to expand their current lineup.

But what would a board game podcast be without talking board games. We discuss games that are coming out in 2020 and games that have been out for a long time. One game, Irish Gauge is currently not available at Capstone to order, but be watching for it at your local game store. More importantly, they will be releasing a Kickstarter for the second game in the series soon.

Nerdherders Episode 35 (125): Ramblehammer 40k

The boys return to discuss the 8th edition of Warhammer 40k two years on. What they love, like and loathe about the Games Workshop game.

40K Radio Episode 46: Still Frost(y)

We are joined once again by Amy Frost as we take a look at the latest news in the world of 40K. We talk Adeptus Sororitas and Chapter Approved as well as talk about what we are hoping to see for 40K in 2020!

The Secret Cabal Episode 198: Maracaibo and a Short Topic Extravaganza

Hey Now Cabalists and Happy New Year! First, we start off with a challenge from a Cabalist on our forums and then get busy with some games we've been playing including: Flotilla, Era: Medieval Age, Fast Sloths, Tapestry, Istanbul The Dice Game, The Others and Cthulhu Death May Die! Then we announce a new series of T-Shirts featuring Steve's artwork. Then we get busy with a feature review of Maracaibo from Alexander Pfister and Capstone Games. Then after Tony T throws some tabletop gaming news at us, we host another Short Topic Extravaganza featuring Steve's Jokes, how games have changed over the years and dealing with a gaming group with varying tastes.

Tabletop Talk Episode 56: Malifaux Hot Topics with Kyle and Kevin
