When the rest of the gaming group hasn't shown up yet or just flat-out doesn't show, but you want to still get your gaming on, there's solo games to the rescue. In this case, it's Launder, a new card game where you're taking your dirty money and making it squeaky clean (metaphorically, anyway). The game is up on Kickstarter now.
From the campaign:
Launder is a solo money-laundering game that tasks the player with managing resources and transforming a small amount of illegally obtained money into a larger amount of legitimate money through the purchase of legitimate businesses and the hiring of semi-trustworthy business associates.
Over the course of twelve months/turns, the player will have to deal with a series of unexpected events, avoid the attention of local authorities and the FBI (represented by Heat and the FBI Track), and strike the right balance between investing their money in purchasing new businesses and hoarding enough money to meet their Boss's quota.
The campaign is up and running now and is set to go for another 23 days.
