Flamingos aren't born pink. They become pink because they eat shrimp, that contain pink pigments that eventually make its way into the bird's feathers. Just a random factoid for you as we look at FlamingOs, a new card game that's up on Kickstarter where players are Flamingos looking to collect Os, which are acquired by getting shrimp.
From the campaign:
FlamingOs is a fun card game for 2–5 players. Players take turns drawing cards, pairing Mingos to earn Shrimp. 10 Shrimp points earn a player 1 'O' card. (Shrimp cards are worth 1 point. Jumbo Shrimp cards are worth 5 points.) The first player to get 3 'O' cards wins. But watch out! There are Sharks, Pelicans, a Crab, Seagulls, and special Shrimp that can hurt or help a player’s advancement to win.
FlamingOs takes 5 minutes to learn and plays about 20–40 minutes.
The campaign's about 1/4 of the way to its goal with 13 days left to go.
