I try and use what I buy. I don't like to just get something to throw it away. However, even try as I might, I know I'm not 100% efficient and so I know the cats up by my apartment's dumpster have probably feasted on something I've thrown away at some point. If you're someone who looks at the lives of woodland animals and those living on the margins of human society and think they've got it made, maybe try it for yourself in Eat Trash. Be Free. a new RPG that's up on Kickstarter now.
From the campaign:
Eat Trash. Be Free. Play as a gang of animals stealing food and garbage from humans in a small town.
You have a gang that must procure grub in any way they can to survive. This typically involves heists that target small family garbage cans and garage fridges, but the boldest of the critters in Smalltown always have their eyes set on the big scores. Like the local chicken farm, the Halmart grocery store, and the local Farmer's Market.
Unfortunately, it's a rough town out there and you aren't the only critters hunting for something to munch on. So you'll have to make friends and enemies of these other factions that roam the streets of Smalltown at night to survive.
Think a Banjo-punk Woody Guthrie plus the Fantastic Mr. Fox and you are on the right track.
The campaign's up and over its funding goal with 10 days to go.
