All good things must come to an end, but that doesn't mean they're over. There can be a new beginning for them, and that's what we've got here. Just like comic universes sometimes rebooth, the same is happening with the DC Deck-Building Game from Cryptozoic. They've announced Rebirth, a new edition of the game that adds in elements like linked scenarios, character progression, and being able to visit different places around the DC universe.
From the announcement:
Cryptozoic Entertainment, leading creator of tabletop games, trading cards, and physical and digital collectibles, and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC, today announced the August 1 release of DC Deck-Building Game: Rebirth simultaneously at Gen Con and retailers everywhere. Fans who buy it at Gen Con, the annual tabletop convention that takes place August 1-4 in Indianapolis, will also receive the Training Scenario Card “Learning the Ropes,” while supplies last.
The 1-4 player game is a new evolution of Cryptozoic’s popular DC Deck-Building Game series, breaking fresh ground by adding linked Campaign Scenarios, character progression, and movement between iconic locations.
