"Fake it until you make it." It's an old saying that if you don't know something, faking your way through it can be just as good. And it's a good skill to have, especially when playing a card game like Brilliant or BS. It's a trivia party card game up on Kickstarter where you earn points for knowing things, but earn even more points for convincing people you know things that you don't.
From the campaign:
There are two types of successful people. Those that know things (Albert Einstein...Marie Curie...Tyrion Lannister) and those that talk a good game (Charles Ponzi...Don King...Saul Goodman). Brilliant Or BS is a trivia game that celebrates both. In order to win, you’ll need to be a whiz or a real wiseguy.
Earn points for getting the questions right. Earn even more points for convincing everyone else that you know the right answer. If you get stumped, fake it! Nothing beats the feeling of getting someone to fall for your complete and utter BS.
This game combines our love for trivia and lying to our friends and family (C’mon...your real life isn’t nearly as interesting as your Instagram). We’ve had fun playing it and we know you'll love it too. That's why we need your help to get it funded.
The money we raise will be used to fulfill the minimum order to print the decks and pay the Kickstarter and Amazon fees. If we surpass our goal we can add game changing items like score pads and rigid box covers. Raise your hand if you love those tiny pencils!
The campaign is up and running now. It's set to go for another 27 days.
