I told you that RPG Zines were really becoming a thing. In this instance, we have Absconding, a new indie RPG zine that looks to add new content for 5th edition in all forms. Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and anything else they might find interesting as they fill in whatever gaps they might find in the regular release schedule.
From the campaign:
Absconding is a 5th edition D&D zine with a different approach. It's a fantasy/sci-fi illustrated literature journal from fresh, outsider voices. It's a gaming supplement with sharp, contemporary layout. It's also a reflection of what tabletop gaming is today: strange, enabling, and something you're welcome to be a part of.
Absconding aims to fill in this edition's release gaps with mold breaking intent. We extract intriguing ideas from stimulating stories, offering game-able options paired with fiction and illustration. We're looking at a seasonal schedule, with the first issue coming in May as the Spring 2019 release. The page count will be in the 50s, and the above preview contains 20 of them.
The campaign is about 1/4 of the way to its goal with still 21 days left to go.
