Star Realms Frontiers Up On Kickstarter

I've been seeing lately where one expansion for a game isn't just one expansion, but a whole bunch of them in one whole package. That's the case with the Star Realms Frontiers Kicksterter. It's a new standalone (but fully compatible) set for Star Realms that's actually 9 all new sets. The project is up on Kickstarter now.

Carcassonne has been entertaining gamers since its release in 2000. And it certainly has critical acclaim, having won the Spiel des Jahres in 2001. Well, Z-Man Games is here to help out with the Carcassonne Big Box set. It's got the core game as well as 11 expansion sets in one box.

July Releases Available From CMON

The latest set of releases are now available from CMON. It's a gang-heavy month, it seems. There's 3 organized crime games available (Banana Bandits, The Godfather: Corleone's Empire, and Gang Rush: Breakout), one about investigating a murder scene in Sherlook, and finally, there's Modern Art, which, I guess, you could be smuggling stolen art. What I'm saying is that, without meaning to, it's kind of a theme month this month.

Runebound is a competitive game. While all the players want to avoid a defeat via the scenario overwhelming them all, it's still every hero for themselves. Table Tantrums Back Up On Kickstarter

We all know those friends who just don't get along, but occasionally have to be brought together for some sort of gathering. You know, like a wedding or some other feast. As a host, you do your best to not put feuding people next to one-another. That can get rough if there's a bunch of people who don't like one-another. However, that's exactly what you'll be trying to do in Table Tantrums, which is back up on Kickstarter now.

Just. One. More. Stretch. Goal!
That's how a lot of companies and backers feel about campaigns. It seems there's always just that one extra cool thing you want to add. Sometimes you make it there. Other times, you fall a bit short. But that doesn't mean you have to leave that out, entirely. For example, The Forgotten King was a chapter in Luminous Echo's original Kickstarter that didn't quite make it. So they're running a new campaign just for that. This time around, they've gotten to their goal.

Fantasy Flight Games Previews Phoenix Clan From Legend of the Five Rings

Like a phoenix, Legend of the Five Rings will be experiencing a rebirth in just a couple weeks at Gen Con. Though, y'know, since it's a big gaming convention, hopefully fire won't be involved (anyone remember that fire scare from all those years ago? That was like my 2nd show). But for those looking to take command of the clan, you'll want to know what you're getting into. Good thing Fantasy Flight has posted up a preview.
