Fantasy Flight Games Announces the Return of Samurai

Fantasy Flight Games has announced that they're going to be bringing back the Reiner Knizia classic game, Samurai. In the game, players are in control of their own daimyo and are looking to expand that influence to all of Japan. You do this by establishing the loyalty of lesser lords, the control over rice production, and the sway of the religious leaders of the areas. Of course, if all else fails, you send in the dudes with the fancy armor and the really neato swords.

Welcome back to Top Gear: Star Wars, as we take a look at another of the ships coming out in the next wave for the X-Wing Miniatures Game from Fantasy Flight Games. This time around, it's the K-Wing for the Rebel Alliance. A heavy, sturdy fighter, this ship is in the same vein as the Y-Wing and B-Wing that came before it as a heavy-ordinance delivery platform. Bombs, missiles, torpedoes, laser turrets. This baby can handle them all.

Jailbreakers Card and Dice game up on Kickstarter

Stone walls do not a prison make. Though they make a really good try at it. In Jailbreakers: Plan Your Escape, you are a prisoner, but tonight you want to sleep in your own bed, so you've come up with a plan to bust out. However, there's only so many resources to go around, and your other inmates want to get out as well. And, of course, there's those pesky guards to deal with, too. But with a bit of luck, you can make your way to freedom. The game is designed for 1-4 players ages 10 and up.
