Zombicide: Wulfsburg Expansion Now Available

I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand, walkin’ through the streets of Soho in the rain.
Ok, being fair, I’ve never been to London, and thus, never to Soho. Maybe someday. I hope I don’t run into any werewolves, though. And while you might run into a werewolf in the Wulfsburg expansion to Zombicide, you will run into zombie wolves (and the wolfbomination, which is pretty close to a werewolf, but not exactly one), which is probably worse.

Of course, if you’re going to be throwing new dangers at the players, it’s only right if you throw some boosts to them as well. That comes in the form of new heroes and new gear to equip them with. The game also brings you towers. They’re not just a great place to hang out, but they’ll offer great sniping positions down to the zombies below. But, as anyone who’s played Zombicide knows, just hanging out in a tower won’t win you the scenario.

You can pick up your copy of Wulfsburg now.

Anyone besides me who kickstarted Black Plague and paid for this expansion not received it yet?

I was just wondering if I was supposed to go to the damn store to get my pledge, or not. CMON needs to realize that every time they do this, I am less likely to ever support one of their kickstarters – why do so if I can just get it in the store faster (and perhaps even cheaper)?

      • You’re not getting all the Kickstarter-exclusive extras in the store. And if CMON does one thing with their Kickstarters, it’s have Kickstarter-exclusive extras.

If there’s a concern that you should’ve gotten your things by now, but you haven’t, send in an e-mail to [email protected] and they’ll see what’s up.

I believe numerous people have. Someone commented elsewhere that they still haven’t received a response to their email from over a month ago.

          • Well, I know we’re working on getting another CS agent. If people have sent an e-mail and not heard back yet and it’s been a month, my suggestion would be to send another one. And I’m sure some people have possibly sent in multiple. I do know that the people over in CS are honestly working hard to get people their things. I mean, nobody’s wringing their hands going, “Oh yeah, we really took that guy over a barrel.” We want people to get their games and be satisfied.

It also states in the KickStarter that our rewards might arrive after the game reaches retail stores. And I pity CS agents.

omg can you imagine. Especially for something like this, where it’s thousands upon thousands of copies of the game, and everyone bitching from seven different directions.
I’d seriously be hiding in a closet if I was on the CS staff.

LOL… FYI I am now picturing you guys sitting in an overlord chair petting a cat.

I haven’t gotten my stuff either… guess its time to investigate 🙁

      • crazytuco

There’s really not much to investigate. CMON was able to get Wulfsburg into the retail chain faster than they were able to get Wulfsburg and all the stretch goals and add-ons to the backers. I understand why it happened and why they made the decision, but it still sucks camel parts. Being told that I’ll get my package in another 4-6 weeks doesn’t make me happy when I can go down to my LGS and pick up a copy of Wulfsburg and play now doesn’t make me want to talk about how awesome things are.

I just meant look into why, no biggie. I’ve done over 100 kickstarters, and am pretty used to that pre-manufacture system which nearly always has late products, products not up to standard, various issues, or even products going to consumers first.

Such is kickstarter, to expect anything more requires waiting for retail 😀
