CMON and Guillotine Games’ latest Kickstarter campaign is up, up and away. Head for the far-off planet of PK-L7 in Zombicide: Invader, the latest in the ongoing series. Though, this time, the regular zombies we’ve come to know have been replaced by Xenos. They’re no less deadly, though. Thankfully, there’s all sorts of futuristic weapons and equipment to help the Survivors, well… survive.
From the campaign:
Zombicide: Invader is a standalone cooperative board game for 1 to 6 players, taking the trademark Zombicide action into the far reaches of space! Players control a group of Survivors trying to defend their remote mining outpost from a swarm of infected aliens controlled by the game itself. The more experience and power the Survivors earn, the more Xenos invade the facility!
This sci-fi interpretation of Zombicide is as sleek as ever, playing fast and furious. The rules have been optimized to reduce setup time and make the game flow quickly, focusing the action on the struggle between the Survivors and the Xenos.
The game’s character artwork was created by renowned artist Adrian Smith, and brought to life as miniatures by the talented team at BigChild Creatives.
The campaign made its funding goal in a matter of minutes, and is already through several stretch goals, with more to come for the next 22 days.
