WWPD podcast network is holding a worldwide games event in order to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.
Playing games is fun. Playing games for a good cause is the most extreme fun.

From the announcement:

The WWPD Podcast network is hosting a world-wide gaming event in support of the Wounded Warrior Project on TableTop Day, 30 March 2013. This event comprises twenty-four hours of gaming to support the charity and others like it throughout the world. Games such as Flames of War, Spartacus, Zombicide, Battlestar Galactica and X-Wing will be played at host locations worldwide. The WWPD Crew will personally be on hand in Fredericksburg, VA, at the Game Vault. Members of the CMON Legion will also be there with copies of the various CMON board games to demonstrate and play and will raffle off a copy of Super Dungeon Explore in support of the charity. This event is free to attend, but all donations to the Wounded Warrior Project are greatly appreciated
