WizKids recently posted two images online that are the logo and some blurry preliminary figures for a Street Fighter HeroCLix game.

I’d be interested if it was King of Fighters but I never really got into Street Fighter.

Big fan of all the 90s fighting games as well as the current revival! Was big into UFS for a good while. Looking forward to this! Surprised its not ActionClix, though. KoF was definitely king, though. 😉

Wizkidz keeps announcing things, it sure would be nice if they actually would put something out though.

Why wasn’t there a post on the Heroclix Online announcement? That seems to be pretty big news.

Why wasn’t there a post on the Heroclix Online announcement?

Because it is a computer game.

So is Memoir ’44 Online, but you have covered some of their beta release news.

        • Zac

And I have stopped doing that because its outside of the content that I intend to cover.

            fair enough 🙂

  • Brant

Street Fighter HeroClix? Because that makes perfect sense. o.O

Course it does, they have been fighting marvel superheroes for years now!

I’m curious as to how this game will work, considering that superheroes are more of a run-and-gun-across-a-whole-neighborhood kind of genre, whereas the arena for a match in Street Fighter — as depicted in the video games — would encompass no more than a 2×2 or 3×3 grid on a standard HeroClix map.

    • Zac

Be nice to see them space the arenas out and have huge battles

Yeah, that’s what I figured, since that’s been done in the manga and anime based on the series. My biggest hope is that the game keeps the spirit and feel of the Street Fighter franchise and doesn’t merely paint Hero/ActionClix with the Street Fighter brush. But I’m definitely giving Wizkids the benefit of the doubt, as I feel this has lots of potential.
