Information is worth a lot of money. I mean, just think about now where just about any website where you have to give personal information can sell that information to advertisers. Or there’s all the hacking attacks that grab people’s information. Knowledge, truly, is power, and power means money and reputation. That’s what you’ll be looking to get in Dark.net, a new board game coming from WizKids.
From the post:
Wizkids is excited to announce its upcoming board game offering, Dark.net. In the late 21st century, four mega companies – dubbed The Big Four – have taken control over every aspect of modern society. People have two choices: sell their soul to one of the Big Four or make their own way in the Fringe – a world where reputation means everything and information is more valuable than money.
In Dark.net, a game by Richard Yaner, players will intercept information from the Big Four and use it to increase their reputation and influence. Make contacts, extend your network, hire informants, install network boosters, and even infect rival systems, all to build yourself up from nothing and become the best in the Fringe.
Think you have the tech savvy to be larger than the Big Four? Or will you fall to the bottom of the barrel trying to survive in the Fringe?
Preorder Dark.net from your FLGS today for $44.99, and see what’s in store for your future. Available at your Friendly Local Game Store Febuary 2018.
