Wired has a new article up talking about the success of Reaper’s Kickstarter campaign and of the role of Kickstarter, in general, in the gaming community.

This weekend, Kickstarter added a ninth million-dollar project to its most funded list. What makes this one interesting is that it isn’t an iPhone accessory, gadget, or celebrity rock project. It’s an assortment of over 200 fantasy figurines called Bones that can be used to play Dungeons & Dragons and other role-playing games.

    Interesting article. I think the last part could be really expanded upon.

    I pledged for this Kickstarter. It was really well-done and a lot of fun watching the stretch goals reveal as it picked-up momentum.

    Sadly, I’m suffering withdrawl and boredom this week since it ended 🙂
