Weird West Miniatures up on Indiegogo

Weird West Miniatures is headed to Indiegogo after their successful RPG campaign. Check ’em out and maybe put a little bit in the jar for them.

From the release:

We need your support to start our new line of 28mm miniatures. Our first release will be Heroes and Villains of the Weird West a set of minis you can use in your Weird West game as well as other Western, Steampunk or Alt-History tabletop games.

We’re working with talented UK sculptor Ian Mountain and the experienced team at RAFM Miniatures who will be helping us with our mould making and casting.

Heroes and Villains of the Weird West will include: Abraham Lincoln vs Victorian Vampire, Billy the Kid vs American Werewolf, and Indian Princess vs Mummy Outlaw.

We need to raise $3,000 in the next 45 days, and if we raise more funds we’ll be adding additional miniatures for contributors!

Oof, those are expensive. Sound cheap when compared to a $60 t-shirt, though. “0 Claimed,” indeed.

I really like the drawings and general art direction, except for the princess’ beast hands.

  • A t-shirt definitely isn’t worth $60 — it’s just a thank you for helping us get things setup. 🙂

We’re going to keep adding some new perks at the different levels. When we get to the $6K mark we’re also sending people 8 miniatures not just 6, and that will include shipping.

  • Thinking about this some more I think you made a good point about the T-Shirt and I’ve updated the contribution levels to drop that and some of the other levels down a bit. We’ve also added options to get just the heroes, just the villains, or 2 sets of the villains (2 vampires, 2 werewolves and 2 mummies).
