MYST, the groundbreaking video game series by Cyan Inc. is a game that many of us have played over the years. Well, with the success of a recent Kickstarter campaign, you can now play it on your tabletop. InkWorks Productions has released Unwritten: Adventures in the Age of MYST and Beyond. You can pick up your copy over on DriveThruRPG.

The game focuses on the D’ni and their Linking Books, which let them travel anywhere and everywhere. The game uses the FATE gaming system and is focused on discovery. There are rules for playing both in the modern world as well as the historical D’ni. Of course, since the Linking Books let you travel where you want, you can basically have any possible location you can think of be part of the game.

The .pdf version is pay what you want, while the softcover is $20.

Sounds neat. I really enjoyed the MYST series. The pay what you want format for the digital is a real deal for a book clocking in over 300 pages. Even if I don’t play the game, it looks like there is a lot of neat fluff in there.
