This week is still rushing by. That’s not a complaint, mind you. This weekend I plan on helping a friend get settled into his new place. Of course, that means unpacking board games. And if a couple of those games just happen to get played before they get sorted onto the shelf, that’s just the sort of risk one takes in life. But before we get there, we need to make sure everyone’s gaming tables look as good as possible.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Terrain Sets Added to A Song of Ice and Fire Kickstarter, Dark London Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, and New Items Added to WarStages Kickstarter.

Dark London Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame

Dark London! Fantasy Gaming Mat from Pwork Wargames!

Play in a grim city district of the Victorian Age: a perfect setting for steampunk or gothic locations, among dark alleys, slippery cobblestone streets and towering buildings!

Materials: PVC / Syntethic Cloth
Available size: 4×4′ / 3×3

New Items Added to WarStages Kickstarter

Yesterday, we promised you a Freebie Explosion. Well, here it is!

We paid close attention to your comments and tried to use today’s Bonus Unlock to give you now some of the things you wanted most. Which is why we added more sections to build more walls and rooms. You’ll notice that the Daedalus Extension Kit is also getting more stairs, handrails, medium arches.

We have also noted that there are more role-playing backers than we’d expected. Welcome! This is great because we think you can create really unusual settings with WarStages, especially if you want to wow your players with a truly cinematic environment. As a game master for over 20 years, I always dreamed of bringing this type of environment on the gaming table, especially for the conclusion of a long game, or the ending of a campaign.

Anyway, all this to let you know that now, all the floor elements will now have a 1 x 1 inch grid superimposed on one of their sides to make WarStages even more compatible with many RPG and skirmish games.
