Thursday Terrain Corner
We’re making our way there, everyone. A 3-day weekend is nearly upon us. Have you gotten your plans set yet? I’m… still feeling mine out a bit. We’ll see how it goes. But I do hope to get in at least one game of Guild Ball tonight after work. I’m going to finally get to use those new Hunter’s Guild models. And, of course, I want my table to look good, just as you do. So let’s work on that.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: More game mats for Runewars from Deep-Cut Studio, District 5 Food Booths Available From Micro Art Studio, BattleMats Running RPG Encounter Mats Kickstarter, Ice Planet Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, and Baueda Releases 15mm Hellenistic Fort.
New game mats for Runewars! With the second wave of 3×6 size mousepad mats you will find even more options for your game tables. More snow, more sand, more rocks and of course – more grass for your troops fight on. Check the full range at www.deepcutstudio.com and pick your favorite while the new expansions for the game are hot!
District 5 Food Booths are available at Micro Art Studio’s store. The set consists of 3 booths made of hdf with signboard stickers included.
The bar stools can be mounted in vertical position (bar closed). You can choose how many shutter elements you’d like to mount (from fully closed to fully open). We recommend not to glue the doors and roof to have an easy access to the inside of the booth.
This model is delivered as a pack, unassembled and unpainted.
The parts of the model are designed to slot together in a way that allows for a quick and easy assembly. It may be necessary to glue some parts of the model – use PVA (white) glue.
Battlemats are pleased to announce the launch of our RPG Encounter Mat Kickstarter campaign.
We are expanding our existing RPG Encounter Mat range with 20 designs available as physical vinyl mats and digital files, or as a combination of both.
We aim to have the ideal backdrop for any encounter in any roleplay game!
Our mats are all available in 2’x2’, and over half have a 3’x2’ option. Our images are available with or without, a 1” grid overlaid on the image.
Our digital files are suitable for home printing (on multiple A4 sheets then assemble) and/or for virtual table top.
At Battlemats we work in PVC vinyl for several reasons. It is a highly durable material, 500gsm is very heavy duty (so much heavier than a PVC tablecloth for example) and it will not tear. It is heavy enough to lie comfortably flat under its own weight – no curling edges here! –and we recommend our mats are stored rolled in the cardboard tube provided.
You can also draw on our PVC mats using a chalk pen or non-permanent wet marker, and they will wipe clean. This means you can personalise your experience and customise your mat for as many different scenarios as you can think of!
We are pretty excited about this Kickstarter launch, and we are celebrating by designing even more designs as stretch goals!
The Gaming Mat Ice Planet is a PVC-made rollable terrain mat, or printed on syntethic cloth, ideal for wargame and RPG, in size 4×6′ (122x183cm), 4×4′ (122x122cm), 3×3′ (92x92cm) and 3×6′ (92x183cm), representing the scenery of a frozen world, where frost and snow reign supreme.
Available now: 15mm Hellenistic Camp for FOG and DBA!
This is a scale model of a camp fortified using sharpened stakes in the Hellenistic manner, of the type also used by early Republican Roman armies on the march.
With a bit of literary license and considering the scale, it can be used also for all ancient armies based on the Hellenistic model, such as Greek, Macedonian, Syracusan, Pyrrhic, Carthaginians, Republican and earlier Romans, Italians and many others.
it‘s available in two formats: a 120x80mm using high embankments (perfect for DBMM, FOG, AdlG, etc.) and a 120x40mm one using much less substantial earthwork, suitable for DBA.
