I hope you’re excited for the weekend. I’m excited for the weekend (ok, you know I’m always excited for the weekend). Mostly because it looks like some figures I ordered a while ago will be here this weekend. Woo! Always happy to get new toy soldiers. But if I’m going to be using them, I should make sure my gaming table looks good, too. So let’s take a look at some terrain articles.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Battlefield in a Box: Desert Escarpments Available From Battlefront, Darkburg: Pwork Wargames Gaming Mat Now Available, and Battlefield in a Box: Extra Large Dune Available From Battlefront.

Battlefield in a Box: Desert Escarpments Available From Battlefront

Scenery plays a vital part in any miniature wargame. The Battlefield in a Box range of tabletop-ready scenery is a quick and easy way to create a wargaming table straight out of the box, suitable for any scale miniature troops to fight over.

Darkburg: Pwork Wargames Gaming Mat Now Available

Classic Pwork’s gaming mat with a new amazing graphic! We present the great game mat design: Darkburg
The Gaming Mat Darkburg is a PVC or CLOTH made rollable terrain mat, ideal for wargames, in size 4×6’ (122x183cm), 4×4’ (122x122cm), 3×3’ (92x92cm), 3×6′ (92x183cm), representing the scenery of a broken town, among whose deserted streets and spectral buildings can hide any kind of danger.
The Gaming Mat Darkburg offers the possibility of setting battles between armies of miniatures among winding streets, dark corners and crumbled buildings. The mat is a perfect fantasy setting for urban-skirmish game play, and also ideal for historical cityfights! Are you ready to battle?
You can choose Darkburg printed on high quality PVC or on synthetic Cloth, its awesome graphic grants a wonderful and great-looking setting for your favourite wargames.

These naturally occurring hills of loose sand are built up by the wind and can take a manner of different shapes and sizes. To the forces serving in North Africa, they can provide concealment from the enemy or a much-welcomed break from the Sun.
