28mm Wooden Drum, barrels and cask (15 pcs.)
The Romans began to use barrels in the third century C.E., as a result of their commercial and military contacts with the Gauls, who had been making barrels for several centuries. For nearly 2,000 years, barrels were the most convenient form of shipping or storage container for those who could afford the superior price. A large variety of bulk goods, from nails to gold coins, were stored in them.
Pack includes 3 each of five different size and shapes.

Let’s start from the terrace that we did present during last article.
We did add 2 towers to this structure, connected between them with a small overhead bridge.
You can see how the stairs give a great dynamism to the whole, while the towers give a robust show of strength to the whole structure.

Today we’re releasing another new pack in our in our Small Scale Scenery range; a roughly half-mile section of Hadrian’s Wall. It consists of 15 50mm-long sections, which works out at 750m in total at 1/1000th scale (so only 146 packs would be needed to model the entire wall…). One of the sections has a gated mile-castle while two others have watchtowers built in. The wall had 80 milecastles, roughly one Roman mile apart as the name suggests, with two watchtowers in between each one.
Since none of the remaining wall above 10 feet remains, the exact design of the upper wall and towers isn’t known. I’ve looked at several different reconstructions and have gone with a simple pitched roof design. Every five miles along the wall were a series of larger forts, which will form part of a later release.
SSS-8074 – Hadrian’s Wall – £8.00

In our previous article we showed you how you can use Forgotten Halls to create rooms, corridors, towers, etc, without using our Dynamic Floors of 100x100x10mm. It was however with a “3D Bases” Stone Slabs floor, which creates a perfect floor for our building, and thus, you didn’t need to use any of our FH floors, for obvious reasons.
However, we are showing you now how you can use any kind of terrain already in your possession and still use perfectly our FH range.
