The week rolls along, picking up speed as we head down from Wednesday’s “hump day” through Thursday. It’s been a busy one around here. Lots of stuff going on for the conventions coming up (some next week, some at the end of the month). Lots of prep work to be done between now and then. Hopefully with some gaming in there somewhere. I’ve got a hobby project I’m going to be working on this weekend. What do you guys have planned?
Today, of course, we have another Terrain Corner feature.
In this installment, we have: Terminus Segments Kickstarter Final Days, Manorhouse Workshop Update #16 – Let’s make the 3D Bases suffer a bit, Battlemap Layers passed 80% Funding with 15 Days to Go, Lands of Mars: Pwork Wargames science fiction gaming mat now available, and Lots of new temple models from Infinity-Engine.
Our Infinity Terminus Segments Kickstarter is slowly coming to an end. We managed to gather over twice as much as our goal and unlocked 6 new add-ons, 3 new pledge levels and 3 freebie items. Currently there are over 300 backers.
The campaign will end this Sunday on 6pm CET, but we still have some surprises for our backers.
Today we have to show the results of a ungrateful job.
We need to test the resistance of the 3D Bases. Brrr…. We shudder just thinking about it.
Let’s start with throwing the base on the ground and step on it repeatedly with some strong working (and quite dirty) shoes…
… then, after stepping on it for a while, you realize you just need a wet cloth to clean the base and bring it back to its former glory.
Amazing. Try to do the same with any other material. 1 to 0 for the 3D Bases.
Thanks to you the Battlemap Layers project just passed the 80% funding level with more than 2 weeks to go.
We really could not have done it without your support!
Help us hit the many very achievable stretch goal rewards and make this project truly great!
Classic Pwork’s gaming mat! We present the great game mat design: Lands of Mars
The Game Mat Lands of Mars is a PVC or CLOTH made rollable terrain mat, ideal for wargames, in size 4×6’ (122x183cm), 4×4’ (122x122cm), 3×3’ (92x92cm), 3×6′ (92x183cm), representing the scenery of the Red Planet, characterized by sand, craters and canyons.
The Wargame Mat Lands of Mars offers the possibility of setting battles between armies of miniatures among plains of reddish sand and long canyons carved thousands of years ago by rivers of water now dry. The mat is a perfect Science-Fiction setting for futuristic game play on the Red Planet! Are you ready to battle?
