Thursday Terrain Corner

It’s not just any Thursday. It’s also the anniversary of my first post on TGN. 6 years ago, I told you about the new plastic Warp Wolf kit coming from Privateer Press. That was 26,284 posts ago. Oh, how times change. What will the future hold? It’s hard to say. But I do have shades.

I also have a couple stories to make sure your gaming table looks better than it did back in 2011.

In the Terrain Corner today we have: Roman Buildings Bundles Available From Warlord Games, Heroic Maps – Storeys: Scrivener Street, New Fence Pieces Available From Acheson Creations, Gunfighter’s Ball Wild West Mat Stretch Goal Added To Kickstarter, and New Underhive game mat release from Deep-Cut Studio.

Roman Buildings Bundles Available From Warlord Games

Be it for Bolt Action, Hail Caesar or Gangs Of Rome – these fabulous buildings offer up easy and atmospheric ways to enhance your battlefields with a Mediterranean theme.

As a pre-order bonus, they all have an extra discount incorporated, only until release!

Heroic Maps – Storeys: Scrivener Street Now Available

Scrivener Street is one of the busiest in the city, with many of the citizens having reasons to visit the street regularly. The road is home to many offices belonging to clerks, accountants, lawyers, although none as important as the offices of a certain moneylender, who lives above the office in good quality housing. The street is also populated with taverns, shops and homes, with the upstairs being used for various other businesses and boarding houses.
A set of printable battlemaps compatible with any RPG/Dungeon-Crawl game. Use as a standalone gameboard, or combine with any same-scale tileset.

Contents: A set of two 20 x 30 maps depicting a winter street scene. The ground floor map features a snowy pavement and road, with wooden and stone buildings that house taverns, offices, shops (butcher, blacksmith, baker, equipment etc). The upper level includes homes and small businesses.

Also included are 300dpi full size jpgs, for poster printing or VTT. (n.b. gridless version only available as jpeg)

New Fence Pieces Available From Acheson Creations

Gunfighter’s Ball Wild West Mat Stretch Goal Added To Kickstarter

The Gunfighter’s Ball Kickstarter is entering its final week, with more loot in store for backers. There are two stretch goals in the mix right now: a mounted version of Honest John the Sheriff, and the biggest one we’ve put forward to date, a game mat.

Everyone who backs at the Deputy Level (the basic starter set) or higher receives one of these neoprene-backed, high-resolution 3’x4′ mats. Check out the blog link for more photos and information!

New Underhive game mat release from Deep-Cut Studio

New game mat release! Underhive is yet another title that speaks for itself and makes it to the point. Squares are compatible with Necromunda game tiles and scenery elements, yet are neutral enough to build any 3D battlefield on. Approved by gangers, this playmat has just the right doze of dirt, rust and filth to launch your battles into the new heights (depths?).
