TGN Sunday Edition: News Snippets
Hey there gaming buddies, it’s time again for another Sunday Snippets here on TGN.
So what’s happening? We’ve got some photos of Medrin cast in resin resin, Torn Armor gives us an update of their 3D renders with Reaper, a look at some new 10mm terrain from War Mage Games, a new release from Hitech Miniatures, some new template colors from Micro Art Studios, and more.
Tim has been working with Reaper Miniatures to refine models according to their molding and production process. Earlier this year we did a test run of two 3d prints, and while they printed just fine and dandy, some adjustments were needed. Tim has applied the results of this test to all of the models shown below, which I believe puts us in good shape for a reprint and another test.
The plan is to mold them up and do a test production run … so I don’t know about you, but I think 2015 is going to start off on a lovely bounce forwards.
So without further ado, let me show you the tweaked masters (some of these may not look very different from the originals, but you’ll notice a general thickening up of pieces)
Well, I think it’s time for the second small present to you all. I was going to hang fire on showing the full Atalanta concept by Roberto Cirillo until Heracles was launched, but that seemed rather mean. So, I’m showing her off now . What’s even more exciting is that sculptor of the Bombshell Babes miniatures- Patrick Keith – will be starting work on realising her near the end of next month! Been wanting to utilize Patrick’s talents for quite a long time now, so it’s great that we’ve found something rather cool to do! Continued happy wishes for the season to you all!
I’ve had a marvelous few days chilling out at my parents’ over the Christmas period, I’ve eaten some outstanding food, I got some funky new toys to play with, it’s been a very good time! I hope you’ve had fun, however you’ve spent the festive period. 🙂
But, the Infamy train keeps on rolling along! So, with a spectacular 2014 coming to an end it’s time for me to get back on track with the Kickstarter, progress as much as I can and be in a good position for getting pledges out to you all next year! 😀
So, just how are the models progressing? Here’s the list of all of the sculpts that still have work to do and the status on them.
The next boss in line is someone history buffs will know. Many will wonder how this guy is still alive in the late 1800’s but you’ll have to wait for the fluff on the Golden Army to find out. Get read for a nasty bunch of bandits.
