Tabletop Gaming News is attempting to get an idea of how gamers are spending their time and money. To that end we have two polls. This poll asks you how your spent your gaming dollars in April 2011. The other asks what games you played during the month.

You can select up to four options. Remember that you can select a game even if you didn’t play it. We’re interested solely in purchasing, our other poll covers the games you actually played.

Also note that the intent of the poll is to track what you purchased the product for not what it was intended for. So if you bought a GW Warhammer miniature to use in Songs of Blades and Heroes then please don’t mark it as a Warhammer purchase.

I spent a lot of money on two new game releases in April. Rulebooks and figures for Hail Ceasar & Force on Force.

    • Zac

I’ll add Hail Caesar for the next poll

  • Have you ever considered adding a selection for ‘I didn’t buy anything new’ ?
I’d be curious to know what percentage, if any, of the people decided for whatever reason to not spend money. I haven’t yet been such a person, just curious how many it would describe.

No. I’m not interested in how many people are buying but what people are buying and do that non-option isn’t of any interest.

I generally dislike the “no opinion” options in polls in any case

I don’t buy miniatures for a specific game, I buy miniatures in a specific scale but play a variety of rules and most of the ones I play are not listed above.

    • Zac

      Which games?

I took heavy gear Blitz, because there was no Arena option, perhaps a slash ala Wamachine/hordes?

    • Zac

What about just a Heavy Gear category?

  • I bought a bunch of Judge Dredd Mongoose stuff and Sedition Wars figs. Not up there either?

    • Zac

Judge Dredd isn’t officially released and the Sedition Wars rules aren’t even in a form to show to the public yet. You’re getting a little ahead of yourself. 🙂
