Worldsmith Industries has a Kickstarter campaign underway for new resin terrain. They’ve made around 7x their goal already, so go check ’em out.
From the campaign:
Hi Kickstarters! Thanks again to everyone who supported my launching of Worldsmith Industries last year with my first Kickstarter. I’m back at it again, this time asking for your help in creating a set of resin terrain for use in 28mm to 32mm miniature wargames, role-playing games, and model railroad layouts.
Worldsmith Industries has unlocked the Human Corps wreck markers over on their Kickstarter. Next is Space Elves.
From the update:
Thanks to your support, the Human Corps wrecks have been unlocked! The Human Corp Walkers are now available as a Category A wreck, and the Human Corp Transport Tank (which is sized correctly for vehicles built on a transport or battle tank chassis) is available as a Category C wreck.
Next for your consideration, I present to you a veritable Space Elfapalooza. When the elves left Middle Earth, the other races were a bit relieved. While elves are beautiful, and graceful, and long-lived, they’re also pretty full of themselves. Frankly, they’re jerks. You can imagine, therefore, the disappointment of the human race once they took to the stars and rediscovered their old friends, the elves. It turns out the space elves are just as insufferable as elves, and their long stint wandering the galaxy did nothing to instill a sense of modesty in them. Thus, when they took to battling one another, the other races took particular delight in watching the space elf vehicles explode.
Worldsmith Industries made it to their funding goal for their sci-fi vehicle wreck marker Kickstarter campaign and now is looking to make it to their first stretch goal.
From the update:
YEA!!!! Thanks for your support everyone! With your help, we’re now officially funded, and Worldsmith Industries will be a reality. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
As a first stretch goal, I offer you the Human Corps. In the dark, far future of grim Gothic darkness, humans may not be the toughest hombres out there, but they certainly are numerous. The Human Corps aren’t heroes like the Galactic Marines. They’re just regular Joes, with rifles and a modicum of training. While humans may not be smarter, tougher, or more agile than other races, there are few problems that can’t be solved by throwing a few million bodies at it. A tank or two doesn’t hurt, either. Quantity, as they say, has a quality all it’s own.
If we hit $1500, I’ll be able to unlock the Human Corps wrecks, which will include a Category A Walker and a Category C Transport Tank. The Human Corps wrecks were simple, no-nonsense vehicles, typified by rivets, square profiles, and good, old-fashioned steel plating.
Thanks again for your support, and I’m excited to see where this goes!
